[The personal data provided by the data subject will be processed by the data controller Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A., with its registered office at via Cavalieri Ducati 3, Bologna, Italy (hereafter "Ducati") and by the data processor Mr. Gabriele Del Torchio, for this purpose domiciled at the registered office of Ducati, and by the other subjects specially appointed by Ducati, using paper and magnetic means and electronic networks, in compliance with the provisions of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 - Personal Data Protection Code, for the following purposes:
(i) to allow Ducati to annually send the welcome kit to the data subject for every year in which the data subject will be member of an official Desmo Ownwers Club (DOC) and to allow all the activities related to the welcome kit delivery, as well as for statistical investigations in anonymous format. Only for the above-mentioned purposes your personal data may be communicated by Ducati to companies of the Ducati group and/or Ducati subsidiary companies, and/or to companies having a contractual relationship with Ducati (as carrier and forwarding agent), or to companies part of the Ducati sales network (such as branches, importers, dealers, distributors, garages), even established outside European Union, and in this case these subjects will process data only for the above-mentioned purposes; data will be brought to data processors and persons in charge of the processing knowledge designated by Ducati and by the aforesaid companies. Please, note that this site will use the i.e. cookies (file sent from the site's server to the user's browser). The user will be free to choice to be informed of the use of cookies and to limit or to block their use by modifying the relative options on her/his browser. In this last case, the website may not work properly. The data will not be disseminated;
(ii) to allow Ducati to conduct market researches, customer satisfaction surveys, promotional activities and commercial information. Only for the above-mentioned purposes your personal data may be communicated by Ducati to companies of the Ducati group and/or Ducati subsidiary companies, and/or to companies having a contractual relationship with Ducati (such as market research and data processing companies), or to companies part of the Ducati sales network (such as branches, importers, dealers, distributors, garages), even established outside European Union, and in this case these subjects will process data only for the above-mentioned purposes; data will be brought to data processors and persons in charge of the processing knowledge designated by Ducati and by the aforesaid companies. The data will not be disseminated
Providing your data for the purposes of point (i) is voluntary, i.e. it's not required by the law, but it's necessary to complete the registration process and to allow the welcome kit delivery. In default of providing the data indicated as "compulsory" in the registration form the consequence will be that you won't be allowed to complete the registration process and to receive the welcome kit.
Providing your data for the purposes of point (ii) is voluntary, i.e. it's not required by the law: in default of providing the data for these purposes the only consequence will be the impossibility to be contacted by Ducati for market searches, customer satisfaction surveys and to receive information concerning the commercial and/or promotional activities organized by Ducati.
